We will be taking a suitcase full of donations to the orphanage in Ethiopia. We have checked into it and they are in need of:
clothing, shoes, bedding, hygiene products, medical supplies, lice treatment, and toys (these would have to be small for our suitcase!) But, if you would really like to help donate but don't have time to shop or don't know what to get--they have recently told families that donating money is a great way to help. They will use it as they see fit as what is needed the most and are also trying to purchase computers. We will collect all donations and take them with us. They don't have to be brand new clothes--you can go to a second hand store or clean out your own closets at home.
Let me know if you'd like to help! Thank you!
This blog started out as a way for family and friends to follow us through our first adoption journey...now it is just a journal of the everyday craziness of our life raising four littles
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved." Ephesians 1:3-6
