Now that we're done with our BFIAR books and have not had anything really structured in a couple months, I'm ready to get back into something!
We are going to be taking the next couple months to read Brown Bear Brown Bear, What Do You See? and do activities with it. Elliana's birthday is in November, so we may even end with a Brown Bear birthday party! :)
There is SO much out there for this book. So many ideas and printables and fun stuff to do with the kids. I know I can't do them all and I have to be realistic with myself. So each week I'm going to try to do these with this kids:
1. Bible verse/story
2. color focus
3. hands-on craft
4. memorable experience
5. sensory experience
6. food activity
If the twins learn their colors, that would be great. If not, then they will learn them another time. No biggie. This book will just give me a theme to base some things around for activities to do together as well as their independent play.
This is one of our favorite books and each of the three bigs can read the entire thing to me already, so I know they will love it. We will have fun retelling the story and acting the story out. There are lots of printables out there and I've got some of the following things printed off. We may get to them some weeks and not others. Here are the links for those interested:
Eye Spy Bottle
Magnet/Do a Dot Page
Coloring Pages
Playdough Mats
Memory Game
Felt Board
Clank Can
Story Stick
