We have hit the 2 week mark!! Thursday, July 18, 2013
Today was a big day!! We got the keys to our new home!
We closed on the house today, so we drove over to get the keys. Brent has started to do some 'handyman' things like install a ceiling fan in our bedroom, bought a microwave, and some other little odds and ends from good ol' Lowes.
Tomorrow, both of our moms (and I think the sisters, too!) are going over to clean (can we say WHAT A BLESSING!!!!!!) for us! The house is in great condition, so it is just surface cleaning, which is great.
Then we get the U-Haul at 4:30pm and will load it up! Saturday morning we will move in and unload! So exciting!!!!!!
Today mama was sick all day, so between sleeping in til 9; laying on the mattress on the living room floor; and taking nice relaxing bubble baths, not much was done....and not many photos taken.
We got the keys at 3pm and took Elliana over to the house with us. She loves her new home, can't you tell?! :)
She gets a room all to herself today and tomorrow! Brent took apart the bed and the mattress is in the living room, so that is where it will stay until Saturday morning! :)
(side note--to provide hours of entertainment, just put a mattress on the floor! ALL the kids loved it! And it was much needed today when mama was sick. They may have watched TWO movies today! *gasp*)
