Elliana continues the same pattern of sleep lately. She wakes about 12am, 3am, 6:30am.
She is napping well for the most part, but sometimes they are very short. But we are thankful that she is going down into the pack n play well. She does cry, which is good because she doesn't want us to leave-but she does stop very quickly, which is good so we can let her sleep and not train her to cry to be picked up.
Solid food is going well. We've moved on to PEAS!
Here she is, modeling this beautiful headband! haha:) (too bad it didn't have some red it in, maybe she could join the red hat ladies)
We spent the day reading a lot of books and playing on the floor. Elliana did great in her discovery center while Mommy and Raelynn did school.
When Mimi came to drop Raelynn off, we did facetime with Papa for a short time. Elliana loved it! (of course--what kid doesn't like the ipad???)
Today's nap time position.....
After naps, we were playing on the floor as we always do. Elliana was doing tummy time so I wanted to get a family picture of us all in a row...but then Elliana flipped and it was hard to keep her still on her tummy at that exact moment. When I said "we'll just get it another time", Raelynn popped next to Elliana so sweetly and told Mommy to come next to her so we could get a picture. :)
And after the picture I look up and see my son FLYING through the air....mild heart attack happened here....oh boy, I have a long way to go!
Of course big sister wanted a turn...but she didn't go as high
Elliana has improved SO SO much in sitting up!!
Usually we try to put Elliana to bed awake because when she first came home, the bottle put her to sleep immediately. But tonight I just wanted to cuddle and enjoy these moments:)

maybe this position is the reason it was a very SHORT nap today! |
