We had some lanterns left from Raelynn's hot air balloon birthday party. I remembered one was orange, so we had fun watching that go up in the air!
I made a fishing game that all the kids enjoyed. Bought a large piece of orange foam and cut fish out then glued little pieces of the sticky magnets to the back. As they get older I can add letters or numbers to the fish to practice identification.
What better way to finish orange fish week than with buying some orange fish?!

I make my own laundry detergent and I knew I was needing more.....so for a sensory activity and just for fun because I know the kids love pushing buttons and helping me, we shredded some more soap in the food processor. Looks like cheese, doesn't it?!

I tried a new style on Elliana's hair this week. I used a lot of the crème, as you can see in the picture! This was literally right after finishing. The crème is nice because it dries clear. She kept this style in for so long! It was nice to just take each section and re-twist as needed then after a couple weeks I split each single twist into a double twist. I love her loose curls the best, but it's so nice to have her wake up and her hair is already taken care of when its in a style.
This week we celebrated Kacia's birthday!! Always lots of helpers to blow the candles out!
On Saturday there was an event in our park that was a ladybug release. We were so happy we went to check it out. They hundreds of ladybugs in a container that they released out on the kids hands. There were only about 15 kids, so they each got a lot of bugs! We had to really be careful where we were stepping!! Declan and Colt would try to pick them up by squeezing them so we may have killed a few. They loved this event! And they even provided milk and donuts, too:)
