This blog started out as a way for family and friends to follow us through our first adoption journey...now it is just a journal of the everyday craziness of our life raising four littles
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved." Ephesians 1:3-6

Project 52: March 1-7
Sunday Snapshot:
I got a new bike for my birthday and used birthday gift money to buy a second cart to pull the kids! We LOVE it!!!!! We really are a traveling circus now. ;) |
March is the month of birthdays! This week we celebrated Kyle's birthday. |
The kids love the "fun building" reading program in our neighborhood and Mimi loves going with us when she is visiting too. I think their favorite part is the snacks... |
We took a day trip with Mimi this week to Wildlife World Zoo. It was quite a drive, but it was definitely worth it. We spent all day there and had a lot of fun. The kids loved seeing all the different fish and feeding the giraffes!
We also enjoyed Mimi and Papa's pool two times this week!!
Declan loves helping with the dishes....and I love that it gives him something to do for twenty minutes! |
Tot School: Orange fish
Again, I'm so behind on these. I had these pictures loaded in this draft now for months....

I have seen these printables, but I just quickly drew one up. Raelynn counted the fish for each bowl...then ate them of course |

Declan matched the fish to the picture on the paper...then ate them of course |

We had some lanterns left from Raelynn's hot air balloon birthday party. I remembered one was orange, so we had fun watching that go up in the air!
I made a fishing game that all the kids enjoyed. Bought a large piece of orange foam and cut fish out then glued little pieces of the sticky magnets to the back. As they get older I can add letters or numbers to the fish to practice identification.
What better way to finish orange fish week than with buying some orange fish?!

The kids had fun making their orange fish with hand prints
I make my own laundry detergent and I knew I was needing more.....so for a sensory activity and just for fun because I know the kids love pushing buttons and helping me, we shredded some more soap in the food processor. Looks like cheese, doesn't it?!
