"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved." Ephesians 1:3-6

Project 52: June 21-27

Sunday Snapshot:

Father's Day 2015
Believe it or not, Colt is actually saying 'cheese' here!

Last week we went to Target to get Daddy a shirt.  I was hoping they'd have spiderman, but we settled for batman instead

We also got daddy a flag pole for the house!

And the kids each answered questions about daddy and what his favorite things are

We are looking for a good local Mexican restaurant that we can frequent with our kids.  So we decided to try a new one for Father's day.  It wasn't our favorite, but it was still good.  And nice to have no dishes to deal with on Father's day.

On Wednesday afternoon we headed to the beach in California.  We surprised the kids with new beach towels on their car seats.

It was a fun filled week with our family.  We overlapped one day with cousins Jackson and Harper.  The weather was *mostly* perfect and the kids love playing in the sand and water.  It is a lot of fun taking them to the beach!

Colt fell asleep on mama or Grandma each day

great game called slammo that was a lot of fun!!

When we first got to the beach Colt liked the water, but when the waves came rolling in on the shore he would run away crying.  It made it easy to watch him around the water though!

The whole gang that overlapped for one day

we need to work on her form:)  She loved playing ball with Tank!

Sandy bottles....yummmmy.

We were sitting so quietly in our hotel bed, which was of course just a couple feet away from the kids.  Can't talk.  Can't turn on the tv.  So, Brent walked to Moo Time for some ice cream for us! And then we had a date night in the bathroom so we could turn on the light:)

GIANT pizza.  it was sooooo good.

We stayed in a hotel but Grandma, Tank, and the rest of the fam stayed in a condo right on the beach.  Pretty nice view from the balcony!

flying a kite

everybody just wants to lay next to aunt rissa

snack time, which happened pretty often at the beach, was always a highlight of the day

as the day went on it would get a bit chilly and with no naps, it was wearing on the kids near the end of the week.  So Elliana had her own little bed dug out for her

Saturday was our last day at the beach and it was cloudy and cold.  It even rained a tiny bit and our umbrella went sailing down the beach.  So we all were bundled up and dug a big cave for the kids to sit in to hide from the wind.

Declan fell asleep sitting up like this while we were waiting for everyone to come in from the beach.

For a second, like the only second while taking this picture, it seemed like we were on our honeymoon.  Ok, so it was really just the fact that we had a balcony overlooking the ocean.  That's all.
