Sunday Snapshot(s): there are A LOT:)
We left California today and stopped at a park in Imperial Beach to spend some time just the 6 of us before heading on the road. I had fun zooming in with my new camera to capture some moments.

hang on, when did he get so big!? |
Along a path were all these little "flower" weeds that the kids wanted to pick. It's all about perspective, isn't it?
|
and what is it about that little toddler squat that is just so cute?! |
Then we found a tree to climb!

she's a beauty! |
We have been enjoying Grandma and Tank's pool during these hot summer nights!
Raelynn still naps every day, even though she goes down about an hour after the other kids. So some days when I have an errand to run I take her with me and we have some really special mommy-daughter time. I could put her to nap, but I so much enjoy this time with her so I take her with me. And she has learned that AJ's gives free cookies to kids, so now she always wants to stop and get mommy a tea...a win for both of us:)
I saw the kids doing this outside all on their own!!! I think they miss the beach......

On July 3 we had a surprise birthday party for our friend Mary! Such a nice dinner and we played a really fun card game called Mafia. Unfortunately we were unable to get a sitter, so Brent stayed home with the kids.

July 4 we used Grandma and Tank's pool with friends!

July 4 is an extra special day for us in addition to Independence day.
July 4, 2013 is the day Elliana entered America and came into our family forever. We watched the video of her homecoming and went out to frozen yogurt to celebrate.
Last year we celebrated her one year homecoming on the beach in Califorina!

July 4, 2015 |
We ended the day with some fireworks in the front of the house, which terrified the majority of our children. Then we went to the park near our house to watch the fireworks set off by the city.
|
we attempted to set off a lantern, but it didn't make it too far.... |
