Elliana's First Birthday Party

Elliana's birthday is November 10, but we had a birthday party with our family this past Saturday.

She does really well at holding up her finger when you ask her "How old are you?"

Since Elliana was a lady bug for Halloween, we just went with that theme for her party.  Auntie Kacia made these adorable cupcakes for us!!

These are her monthly photos from her first year.  Her first is the referral photo we got at one month and the next three were pictures we received from other families or our agency and based on when I got them I know she was 2, 3, and 4 months old.  Then when we went to Ethiopia we took her photo in a bumbo and for the months we were apart I was able to get other families to do that for me! It is amazing to see her growth and change over the year!
