"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved." Ephesians 1:3-6

Project 52: week forty-three

April 13-19, 2014

Sunday Snapshot:

This handsome fella was off to get his 4 month pictures taken!

A fun tradition of the Frazey ladies is to kick off summer with new pedicures and sandals, thanks to Debbie!

who is who?
This week we made baked cotton balls:

Colt is in the discovery center!! And he is doing well! I thought I'd have to ease him into it and prop him up like I did with the other kids, but at just four months he is doing so well.  He is even spinning and playing with the toys.

April 16, 2009 was a day that will always be special to us--our 'engageaversary' ......and isn't it fun that I still have the link for our wedding website from when we were engaged:)  God wrote us such a perfect love story. I am so blessed.
On top of Scarface Mountain--a big thanks to Marissa for setting it all up!!
We have finally reached the point where we have quit swaddling Elliana!!!  YAY!! At 17 months she is free!  She has been falling to sleep, staying asleep, and waking up great!
She is definitely a child that is on a schedule though.  No matter what time I put her down to nap, she will wake up about 3:00.  She starts to get a bit fussy around 11:30, so I have learned now (hey, it only took about 9 months!) that she has to go down in the morning and take that long power nap.  So she is sleeping what seems to be a lot of the day, but she is so happy when she is awake.
Words just don't even explain this girl.  She is so joyful and such a sweetie.  She is a little stinker too, and she knows it:)  But her little smirk just melts our hearts.
Elliana is continuing to talk so well.  She is trying say everything we tell her to and is saying words on her own.  She mimics our actions a lot too.
Right now we love listening to her speak in her own jiberish language to her brother and sister and especially when she is yelling at Ike.  She does NOT like it when Ike licks Colt or gets in her way.  It is quite a sight!
While I'm cleaning up dinner Elliana always stands at my feet with her arms up in the air saying "up! up!"
I hate to be too busy to give her the attention she is wanting, so I started sticking her in the sink.  She likes it and it's nice to have a little face to talk to while I'm doing the dishes:)

But if sister gets to do it....then we all want to join in the fun!!  Soon there was water all over and we just sat back and enjoyed the view of all 4 laughing together:)

Remember when Elliana was just starting to pull herself up on the first step?  Then she progressed to climbing on everything and going up the stairs.  Now she is coming down the steps all by herself! Big sister likes to help her learn.

Another little helper is my sweet boy Declan.  He is such a kind boy and his love for his little brother is so sweet.  He sleeps with his pacifier and this blue blanket rabbit/bear/dog looking thing that we aren't sure what animal it is. He LOVES these two things.  First thing he wants when he goes in his room and sometimes when we go in to get him he doesn't want out yet because he knows he has to leave those prized possessions behind.  Often if we are all upstairs playing he will disappear for a few minutes and later walk about with the paci and bear.  Definitely an attachment and love there. And all that to say--look at this picture.  Declan has given Colt his paci and is also giving him the blue bear.  So sweet!

Saturday was the family Easter picnic! More pictures in its own post coming soon.

    1. I enjoyed it too:) The baked cotton balls were 'red balloons' from reading Goodnight Moon--just a bit behind on posting about our stories! They smashed them with hammers. It was fun and cheap to make!! I think Elf may eat them, but not us ;-)
