"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved." Ephesians 1:3-6

Mr. Mischief

This big boy is 13 months old already!  What a difference between boys and girls we are seeing---at least between Declan and Raelynn.  Declan slows down enough to notice the giant obstacle course his surrounding world provides him and takes full advantage of it!!

Daily, he is finding something to get in to, climb on, over, and through.

Declan, now at 13 months is taking many more steps.  He is walking across the room all by himself! It seems he just needed to be able to go from sitting to squatting and standing all on his own without assistance from a chair or anything else. Since he figure that out, he has been doing great.
He is saying Mama, Dada, Ike, Woof Woof, Hi, and what sounds to be Raelynn.  He loves clapping his hands, and he will sign 'more'.  Still just refuses to say 'please' though and gives us this goofy grin when we prompt him.  He just knows he'll get fed anyway, at least that is what his look says!
He loves sitting and reading books or playing with other things independently.  He is at the open mouth kisses stage and loooooves giving Elliana kisses! He and Raelynn are interacting so much now and it is cute to see how they play together.  He copies her and of course, she copies him as well. :)

In addition to all these adventures, he has been found on the dishwasher, with his lunch plate down on the chair and the cantelope devoured, and trying to go head first down the stairs (he sees an open gate and makes a dash for it!)
He was after the wipes...he really likes wipes...my fault.  I made him one of those pull-out-the-rag-from-the-wipes-container games

I know, I really should be stopping him......

He has gone through 2 times....usually though he just peeks out and looks at Ike....it's just too cute!

"I just wanted to see my picture.  No big deal, Mom."

Just chillin

He can reach the table now and tries pulling things off.  Successful when I don't remember to move things away from the edge!  Here he found Big Sister's book and dry erase marker.  He had managed to get it all over his leg.  I was glad the marker easily comes off the floor and he didn't get it on his shirt.
