"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved." Ephesians 1:3-6

Tot school: letter L

Tot school: letter L
Age: 29 months

L is for Lion

This is Lenny the Lion....he is a washcloth!
I will always try to pull objects from around the house to go with the theme.  For example, when we did B is for ball, we went 'shopping for balls' in the shopping cart. And we pressed our house keys into the playdough for K is for keys.

I have these stickers that were from my scrapbooking supplies.  Each week we do a big letter and stick the stickers on the page.  Sometimes we rip pieces to make a mosaic letter or we paint or stamp.  This week we did Do-a-Dot markers (I got mine at the dollar store....not recommended because they aren't washable! Check amazon.com--they are awesome!)

L is for Leaf
I cut a bunch of leaves out and put some with capital Ls and some with lowercase.  She sorted them on each side of the tree.  I was really impressed that she did them correct!  I focus mostly on capital letters right now, but sometimes we do talk about the lowercase letters too.
You can also see one of the printables I have that is for do-a-dots. They have every letter of the alphabet. We also do puff ball magnets or play dough balls on the dots to change it up from week to week.
